In addition to the need for spiritual rebirth and renewal Zambian children face many physical and economic problems. Zambia is second in the world to Uganda with the highest number of children being orphaned due to AIDS. It is estimated that 34 percent of all children under the age of 15 years are orphans. MSM supports these needs when funds are available but primarily focuses on preaching and teaching God’s Word. The ultimate solution to man’s problem is spiritual food, “Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” Matt 4:4

Mustard Seed African School Ministries (MSASM) is a non-profit, faith based organization committed to preaching the “good news” of Jesus Christ to school children in the African countries of Zambia and Malawi.

Jesus commanded us to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”  Using local evangelists and preachers God has provided the means and opportunity to preach Jesus Christ in public school assemblies in many African nations.

  • We reach 40 students for every dollar donated to MSASM

  • We send $500 per week to Africa and teach the Bible to 20,000 students per week.

Mustard Seed Ministries AfricaFaith Alone in Christ Alone

Our message in Africa is that “… whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jn 3:16
The gracious gift of salvation is free, we teach the children that there is nothing you can do to earn or deserve this gift except unconditionally placing your faith in Jesus Christ, the one who purchased that salvation on the cross.

After Salvation, Then What?

MSM emphasizes follow-up discipleship training after evangelism to anchor new believers in their faith. Grace is not only God’s plan for salvation but also for living the Christian life. Students are encouraged to find spiritual growth through Bible study in a local church.
